View the complete list of requirements.

Step 3 – Apply Online

Your application will be considered complete and ready for review once we have received your online application, payment, and all supplemental materials.

Online Status
You can check the status of your application at any time on your online status page. Please be aware that it may take up to four (4) weeks following an application deadline for materials that were submitted to separately to appear as having been received.

Step 4 – Committee’s Review

Each application is read, in-depth, by two members of the Admissions Committee. Applications are then reviewed by the entire Committee and all decisions are made as a group. We don’t select files to read in any particular order, so your application may be reviewed at any point in the round.

Step 5 – Interview

An interview is required to be admitted to the Yale School of Management. Interviews are by invitation of the Admissions Committee. If you are invited to interview, you will be notified by email. You may be invited at any point in a round — after an initial review of your application or after one or two in-depth reads.

Step 6 – Notification

We notify applicants of decisions throughout the application round. The latest you will hear from us is the decision deadline listed above. If your decision status changes, we will notify you by email.
