Yale School of Management

Yale SOM students have the opportunity to supplement their class work, and in some cases earn course credit, by traveling abroad.

A two-week International Experience is integrated into the new Yale SOM Core Curriculum. Students will study management operations in several countries and bring what they learn back to the classroom.

Students also regularly organize a variety of international trips during Winter and Spring Breaks – sometimes as part of a course. In addition to exploring their host country, students meet with senior management and government officials from a variety of industries including financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, media and entertainment, non-profit, and pharmaceuticals. Students have also provided pro-bono consulting services to socially focused organizations.

Past destinations include China, Russia, Nigeria, India, South Africa, and Madagascar.
