Raymond Chang is the executive chairman of LuckyPai, a TV-shopping company focused on delivering entertaining and interactive contents, as well as value and quality products to Chinese consumers. LuckyPai currently operates several live TV home shopping channels in China, (Shandong, Heilongjiang, Henan, Yunnan, and ChongQing). LuckyPai’s currently covers approximately 300 million population and roughly 25 million cable households. LuckyPai is backed by Intel Capital, LightSpeed Venture, DT Capital, Tenaya Capital, and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Chang co-founded LuckyPai with fellow Yale SOM classmates, Mr. Wen-Jie Zhang and Mr. Chang Su.

Mr. Chang is also the co-founder and former CEO of GigaMedia. Since co-founding GigaMedia in 1997, he helped develop the company into one of the leading internet and media companies in Taiwan. Mr. Chang was instrumental in developing the company’s media and access businesses and was responsible for managing GigaMedia’s corporate strategy. During his tenure, he formulated a $35 million strategic investment from Microsoft and completed a $280 million IPO for the company in 2000.

Mr. Chang also served as a special advisor to Chinatrust Commercial Bank. Prior to joining GigaMedia, Mr. Chang worked at Koos Development Corporation as a special assistant to the Chairman and at McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Chang received a BA in economics and political science from New York University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Chang also matriculated at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
